Outreach
Outreach activities will be conducted through Community Innovations, Inc., a 501©3 non-profit organization, which was developed in September 1993. The organization was initially formed as a resource agency for community residents.
 The mission of Community Innovations, Inc. is to develop programs that will improve the educational, social and economic status of individuals at-risk to poverty, unemployment, poor health and crime.
Community Innovations, Inc is an approved Louisiana Medicaid Application Enrollment Center.
The goals of Community Innovations, Inc. are:
- To empower families and rebuild communities;
- To provide elementary and secondary school students with support services that will promote success in the present and future years;
- To educate and prepare community residents for meaningful careers; and
- To improve the health and prolong the lives of community residents
